Job Description

- Setup and operate 4 or 5 axis CNC Lathes to produce parts to precise dimensions and within close tolerances
- Ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously
- Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job.
- Calculate where to cut or bore.
- Select tools and materials for the job.
- Monitor and control feed rate and speed.
- Ensure workpiece is properly lubricated and/or cooled.
- Monitor the accuracy of cuts.
- Check accuracy of work against blueprints and specifications.
- Use manual and computercontrolled machinery.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
- Ability to set up 4 or 5 axis machining
- Ability to use measuring tools.
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Must be able to comprehend blueprints work orders and other technical documents.
- Willing to work nonstandard and/or additional hours on short notice to support near term customer milestones and schedules (Overtime Offshifts)
- Must pass a handson exam that will test your general knowledge.
