About the Role
We are seeking a Plumbing PreConstruction Coordinator to join our dynamic preconstruction team. This role is pivotal in helping us process client information to produce accurate and complete cost estimates. As a key member of the team you will organize project details manage vendor and subcontractor quotes and maintain crucial pricing and tracking data. Youll play an essential role in supporting our goal of landing work and keeping our team busy with opportunities for growth and increased responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the PreConstruction team in processing client information to produce complete and accurate cost estimates.
- Fill out the bid log with all pertinent project details.
- Build job folders in the system organizing information and dispersing files into the correct folders on the server.
- Request and review quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
- Organize and track project information for historical data and pricing purposes.
- Maintain and update pricing tables.
- Make phone calls as required for project coordination.
- Participate in extensive Zoom meetings during the training process.
- Take on additional preconstruction responsibilities as experience grows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- MustHave Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 particularly Excel.
- Detailoriented and highly organized.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage and organize complex project information.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Selfmotivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience reading and interpreting construction project plans.
