Job Description

Are you studying Business Administration/Human Resources Law or Tax and ready to hit your professional career with Konecranes Summer Trainee team of 2025 Do you want to gain valuable experience from compliance matters related to Business Travel Wellbeing initiatives or other Rewards related matters in an international work environment We might have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for a Summer trainee to join our Global Rewards team in Finland. As a Summer Trainee you will be working on a project related to Business Travel Compliance where our responsibilities include collecting information on immigration and company registration requirements in countries where we have upcoming projects or where our employees frequently travel and setting up alerts into our internal travel booking tool. You will be also required to create memos training material and communication on the topic. Your daily responsibilities include for example doing online research working on our internal travel system tool creating presentations and training documents.

This role is based in Hyvink or Espoo Finland but it goes without saying that hybrid work type is a part of our modern ways of working.

Beside this you will have the opportunity to work on some wellbeing initiates and campaign and you will work on other presentations and internal learning materials to create and freshen up communication on different Rewards topics.  You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your daytoday activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. Your main stakeholders are located in Finland Espoo office and you are also allowed to work partly remotely. As the Traineeship is stretching over summer holiday months we are looking for an individual who is also comfortable working independently and proactively.

Qualifications :

What kind of talent are we looking for

This role is ideal for a Business Law HR Communication or Tax student who is eager to learn more about compliance and obligations related to international travel and other Reward topics. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself but we especially value your good teamwork skills hardworking attitude and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important. All our internal material is in English so good knowledge of English language is essential.

What should you bring

  • Academic background in Business HR Law or Tax or Communication preferably at the end of your studies or some first experience from internships
  • Understanding of data analysis some level of knowledge of tax and immigration laws global mobility report writing and putting together presentations from your studies or working life
  • You know how to use traditional ITprograms e.g. Microsoft Office Email etc.
  • Earlier work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
