Are you majoring in communications journalism or marketing and ready to hit your professional career with Konecranes Summer Trainee team of 2025 Do you want to gain valuable experience from corporate communications in an international work environment We might have the perfect opportunity for you!
We are looking for a Communications Trainee to join our Technologies Communication team in Espoo. As a Communications Trainee you will be working with diverse communications tasks both internal and external ranging from technology related news releases to events and social media. Your daily responsibilities could include for example interviewing editing online content creating social media posts and filming videos.
This summer internship entails 46 months of fulltime work with a preferred starting date in April or May. The job is located in Espoo with the possibility to work partly remotely. Please notice that our headquarters is located in Hyvink and role might require visiting Hyvink office once a while.

Qualifications :
What kind of talent are we looking for
This role is ideal for a person who is creative full of new ideas and eager to learn more about communications in a global work environment. You will work closely with our communications network who help you get started and support you in your daytoday activities. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself but we especially value your good interpersonal skills proactive mindset and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.
This position could be for you if you are:
- majoring in Communications Journalism or Marketing (Masters degree)
- excellent in written and verbal communication in English (native level)
- competent in content creation and using different communication channels
- a creative storyteller and have great visual skills
- able to work independently
- enthusiastic to learn about technology and communications
- interested in working in a global multicultural organization
What should you bring
- a cando attitude
- previous experience of videography photography project management and M365 tools such as SharePoint
- experience on using Adobe Premiere Pro InDesign and/or Photoshop
- experience in social media content creation
