Job Description
Position: MidLevel Project Finance Associate
Location: Houston Los Angeles Madison Milwaukee New York or Washington DC
Duration: Fulltime
Salary: DOE
Description:
The client is seeking an Associate Attorney with 35 years of renewable energy transactional experience to join their Finance Practice Group and Energy Sector in one of their offices located in Houston Los Angeles Madison Milwaukee New York or Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in renewable energy project finance and tax credit transactions with a broad understanding of renewable energy due diligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents including credit agreements and tax equity documents.
- Review project documents manage subjectmatter specialist review and handle the closing of transactions.
- Support the energy practice group by providing legal guidance on renewable energy matters and contributing to the growth of the practice.
- Work in a clientdriven environment managing complex and challenging tasks with a focus on achieving the longterm strategic objectives of the Energy Sector.
Qualifications:
- 35 years of experience in renewable energy transactional law including project finance and tax credit transactions.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents and reviewing project documents.
- Strong writing analytical and communication skills are essential.
- Large law firm experience is preferred.
- Must hold a JD from an ABAapproved law school and be an active member of the bar in the jurisdiction where the candidate is admitted to practice.
- Excellent academic credentials required.
