Position: IT Business Analyst

Minimum Qualifications:
- At least (3) years Business Analyst IT experience in working with Maryland State agencies. (i.e. designing developing testing implementing and maintaining)
- Exposure to tools like JIRA TFS DevOps Confluence or Trello for managing requirements and tasks.
- Technical business analyst experiences managing several projects simultaneously. Understanding of how databases work and basic querying skills Webservices or API works and basic.
- Familiar with data analysis tools like SQL Excel (advanced functions) or basic visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
- Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis Word for documentation and PowerPoint for
presentations. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies through training or certification such as
Certified Scrum Master (CSM). - Experience in managing and execution of multiple related operational requests /
projects simultaneously - Experience working in a matrixed environment.
- Certification in one of the following: Analyst Computer Systems (Junior) Quality Assurance Quality Analyst Project Management Information Technology
- Experience in Service Now is a plus.
- Knowledge of State Government policies and practices.
- Knowledge of Payment Portal implementation with FMIS Integration
Educational Requirement: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Business or other related scientific or technical discipline.
