Job Description
Job Title: Data Engineer Healthcare Data Migration
Location: Austin TX
Are you an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in healthcare data migration and EHR integrations Join our team and play a key role in supporting the migration of an Integrated Resident Information System to a new SaaS solution!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive planning data assessment cleansing and mapping to ensure seamless system compatibility.
- Design and implement optimized workflows that integrate with the existing system for a smooth transition
- Engage with clinical and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure clear communication throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Document all phases of the migration process ensuring best practices and compliance standards are met.
Qualification
- 7 years of experience in database management systems & data migration particularly within healthcare EHR systems (e.g. Cerner Millennium).
- 7 years of experience in Oracle Microsoft SQL Server or similar database scripting to drive efficient SaaS platform migrations.
- Strong proficiency in Excel Word Visio and other data analysis tools.
- Experience in documenting business process flows and conducting data collection meetings with SMEs to enhance system usability.
