Database Engineer
Experience: 5 Years
Primary skills:
RDBMS concepts
Writing SQL queries (DDL DML DQL DCL) using MySQL
AWS RDS
Extract data/reports by writing complex queries
Create reports and Visualizations using Microsoft Power BI or AWS QuickSight
Data backup and restore
Data security
Capacity Planning
Database performance finetuning
Secondary/Good to have skills:
MongoDB
Other datarelated tools
Any ETL tool
Python
Position Summary:
Database engineer with experience in Database management Good knowledge in writing queries to extract the data automate the report generation through reporting tools
Essential Job Functions
Understand the data requirements from various departments
Extract data from the database by writing queries and sharing the reports with the stakeholders
Automate the frequently used data reports using the Reporting tool (MS Power BI or AWS QuickSight) and provision the secured access to stakeholders on the reports
Manage Database backup and restore
Ensure data security
Capacity planning and Database finetuning from time to time to increase DB performance
Education: BTech/MCA
other data-related tools,data security,extract data/reports by writing complex queries,python,reporting,sql,database,mongodb,security,writing sql queries (ddl, dml, dql, dcl) using mysql,aws rds,any etl tool,data backup and restore,power bi,capacity planning,rdbms concepts,create reports and visualizations using microsoft power bi or aws quicksight,aws,database performance fine-tuning
