Job Description
Position: CAD Technician / Junior Civil Engineer or Technician
Location: Mosselbay/Hartenbos Western Cape
Experience: 13 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and produce detailed civil engineering drawings including concrete and steel structures using Caddie or similar CAD software.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to develop and implement technical designs and drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards and project specifications.
- Support the engineering team in the planning design and construction of civil engineering projects.
- Maintain and organize project documentation and drawings.
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 03 years of relevant experience in a civil engineering environment.
- Proficiency in Caddie or similar CAD software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in Afrikaans (essential).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with strong attention to detail.
- Problemsolving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in creating concrete and steelwork drawings.
- Familiarity with additional CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Knowledge of relevant South African building standards and regulations.
