Junior Underwriter
Location: Foreshore Cape Town
Type: FullTime EntryLevel
Are you a recent graduate with 12 years of experience in accounting finance or a related field Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Underwriter to join their dynamic Underwriting (UW) team! In this role youll play a key part in preparing and evaluating deals conducting research and ensuring smooth underwriting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the underwriting team in preparing deals for review and approval
- Conduct preliminary reviews of potential clients by researching companies and analyzing credit reports
- Support the UW team by maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and timely deal progression
- Stay updated on industry trends financial markets and relevant regulations
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related field
- 12 years of relevant experience (internships included)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A proactive and collaborative mindset
