Rate of Pay: $25.0026.50 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external clients
- Assist in qualifying leads researching space and entering bookings in Opera Sales and Catering and responding to client(s) either personally or by directing to the appropriate salesperson(s)
- Preparation of contracts and proposals
- Preparation and processing of group definite contract turnovers
- Record and track leads for responses and due dates
- Assist Sales Managers in conducting site inspections of the Hotel
- Maintain/order current printed sales and promotional collaterals and office supplies
- Coordinate with other departments within the hotel to ensure distribution of important information
- Prepare and disseminate regular sales department reporting on daily weekly and monthly basis Attend all sales meetings
- Provide administrative duties as required by Sales Managers and Director of Group Sales
- Regular Sales Office phone coverage
- Assist with preparation and followup of sales trips including expense reporting
- Prepare purchase orders and process invoices including third party group commissions
- Assist with duties of Sales Managers when they are absent from the office
- Facilitate travel planning and manage expense reports
- Manage schedule of meetings corporate visits reservations etc.
- Combining weekly reports for submission
- Maintain an organized work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Minimum High School Diploma Business School and/or Hotel School Diploma preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
- Previous hospitality or travel industry experience (internal or external) an asset
- Proven competency in the area of organization and communication skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Pleasant outgoing personality/good interpersonal skills

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.
