Responsible for driving and supporting Bethlehem teams with strategies and execution to continuously improve processes efficiency and implement advanced technologies and solutions to further strengthen our business and competitiveness. The areas of responsibilities are Quality Management for Production Value Streams Sales and supporting areas.
- Deviation Management (Customer internal and Plant to Plant) supporting shop floor and other areas in the Campus to define root cause and stablish corrective and preventive measures.
- Drive through trainings meetings workshops and audits improvement process teams to define measure analyze improve and control processes identifying underlying process gaps to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Define procedures (such as process flow control plans work instructions) and train applicable personnel on new process implementation and process improvement aiming to improve quality/cost/manufacturing.
- Facilitate/coordinate containment actions problem solving activities and other Quality initiatives to assure that the customer will receive goods that are according to Bosch Rexroth standards and customers specs.
- Act as Supplier Quality Engineer for products supplied by other Bosch Rexroth plants issuing claims and requesting corrective actions.
- Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) activities driving improvements and maintaining compliance with the ISOQuality Management System throughout the organization.
- May conduct internal audits including creating audit reports closing out audit findings as well as support on process product and system audits performed by accredited institutions (preparation followup and reporting)
Qualifications :
- Min. fouryear degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Industrial Engineering Physics or related field from an accredited institution (ex. CHEA) with intern and/or coop experience in a technical field or manufacturing operations environment preferred.
- Ability to take initiative set strategic priorities take ownership and leadership of assigned projects and independently drive for results according to plan.
- Strong attention to detail knowledge of analytical problemsolving techniques (i.e. 8D Shainin DMAIC) and statistics.
- Experience with working together in teams to achieve defined quality goals leading/managing projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
- Experience in a manufacturingoriented organization and familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts are considered as a plus.
- Strong communication skills being able to deal with different audiences (i.e. shopfloor associates engineers middle management).
