Job Description
Senior Accountant
Location Oakbrook IL 60521 Hybrid role
Salary base $90K to 100K depending on experience
Key points:
- Must have a Degree with 3 to 5 yrs experience Public or Corp general accounting experience monthend close reconciliations performing financial statement variance analysis.
- Must have some process improvement and show it on the resume.
- Proficient in accounting software like Lawson Business Intelligence and/or Hyperion a plus.
- Any experience with the retail industry is a plus
Responsibilities
- Review prepare and record journal entries related to balance sheet and income statement.
- Prepare and provide requested documentation for external bank audits.
- Prepare detailed and organized reconciliations and perform financial statement variance analysis.
