You will conduct deep market research to analyze trends consumer behavior and preferences within the energy drink category by utilizing shopper data POS data and market data. Develop insights on consumer needs preferences and pain points to inform category strategy. Identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement by monitoring competitor products pricing and promotional activities. Support the development and implementation of strategies to drive growth in the energy drink category including new product launches occasion strategies pricing strategies and promotional initiatives. Work closely with sales marketing business intelligence finance and operations to align on category objectives and execute the strategy effectively.
Execute Category Management Initiatives with Key Customers
You work with the Category Development Manager and team to build and manage partnerships with key customers developing joint business plans and driving largescale Category projects. You create develop and deliver regular category reviews plans and strategies for top customers. You ensure merchandising effectiveness including main shelf optimization and incremental display execution. You implement category development programs for customers in the Retail channel by leading discussions focused on category growth opportunities. You provide leadingedge Category Management solutions including SKU optimization effective pricing/merchandising strategies proper shelf positioning promo optimization and shopper insights and recommendations.
Support the Enhancement of Knowledge and Capabilities
You organize and deliver conceptual sell and training programs to key account teams focusing on new products sales strategies data usage and planograms. You consolidate and share best practices and insights to enhance sales performance. You collaborate with vendor partners and your team to execute quantitative and qualitative research projects obtaining channelspecific insights and transforming them into conceptual sell strategies.
Qualifications :
Over 3 years of experience in the FMCG sector with expertise in Key Account Management Category Management and Trade Marketing.
Possesses motivation team skills entrepreneurial spirit and strong communication abilities for effective stakeholder interaction.
Demonstrates strong analytical skills commercial acumen and strategic thinking to understand market trends and support sales strategies.
Proficient in using syndicated data shopper panels metrics and loyalty data.
Native level Japanese and Fluent in written and spoken English with strong MS Office skills and the ability to work independently.
