Job Description
A leading company in the luxury cosmetics sector with presence in several European countries and headquartered in Barcelona is looking for a Training Manager to promote brand image and values by training Beauty Therapists and Beauty Advisors on product knowledge protocol treatments and selling techniques. This role also involves conducting inperson and virtual events for spas and perfumeries to enhance client experience and drive brand loyalty.
What do we look for in the ideal candidate
- Training (50%): Deliver engaging and informative technical and theoretical training sessions (inperson or virtual) that maximize retention of product knowledge skincare techniques and product launch information.
- Develop trusting relationships with clients and their teams to support longterm brand engagement.
- Provide exceptional Valmont professional esthetic service and sales guidance to clients.
- Conduct regular training for Valmont Beauty Advisors in department stores covering new products and updates.
- Events (2530%): Host animations including facials master classes and popup events at spas department stores and other sales points (inperson or virtual depending on client needs).
- Administrative Tasks (20%): Organize schedules and coordinate travel arrangements based on sales team requests.
- Complete and submit paperwork following each training or event in a timely manner.
- Use the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage training schedules order gifts and record followup notes and photos after each session.
- Proactively address client needs and requests handling logistics for training sessions (food supplies kit replenishments etc.).
- Cube Management: Oversee product management within the territory ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Translate technical training documents and continuously build expertise in product and protocol knowledge.
- Meetings (5%): Attend national sales and training meetings (24 times a year) to stay informed on product launches and new protocols.
Additional Information
- Travel: Regular travel within the territory and occasional travel outside as needed.
- Location: Based in Barcelona
Your profile and soft skills should be:
- Strong knowledge of beauty care with the capacity to quickly learn and master Valmonts face and body protocols.
- Excellent communication skills comfortable with public speaking and skilled in delivering salesbased training.
- Customeroriented with a collaborative approach to working with multiple departments in a teamdriven environment.
- Highly organized capable of multitasking in a fastpaced environment with a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams.
- Entrepreneurial selfmotivated confident flexible teamoriented and positive.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
Qualifications
- Esthetician diploma or equivalent proficiency.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role with prior experience in a luxury environment preferred.
- Solid understanding of national business practices and market.
