Job Description
The Assistant Carpenter is a vital member of the Crew Life at Sea team. As an Assistant Carpenter you will work closely with our experienced carpenters to assist in all aspects of ship maintenance and construction.
This may include repairing and building new structures installing fixtures and fittings and maintaining the ships overall appearance. You will also be responsible for keeping the carpentry workshop and tools in good condition.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about carpentry and has a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in carpentry either through formal education or onthejob training. You must also be able to work well in a team and be comfortable working at sea for extended periods of time.
In addition to your carpentry duties you will also be expected to participate in other ship duties such as emergency drills and guest activities. This is a unique opportunity to not only develop your carpentry skills but also gain experience in other areas of ship life.
