Job Description

NielsenIQ is enhancing its Retail collaboration practice serving retailers to create more value out of their first party data and develop stronger relationships with their brands. We are looking for a selfdriven enthusiastic & ambitious business graduate for a business development position to strengthen our practice penetration with Benelux retailers. You will play a key role in the development and execution of partnership plans to reach targets from lead generation to contract closing. You will have the chance to hone your business and sales acumen like an entrepreneur. 
As part of the retailer services commercial team you will have the ability to get handson experience with a range of product marketing and sales activities and a unique opportunity to evolve with the companys scaling & growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Proactively identify new partnership opportunities in the market 

  • Present our company and value proposition to prospects 

  • Qualify leads and Initiate joint sales processes with Account Managers 

  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/service 

  • Customize product presentation & marketing collateral to better fit the customer expectations 

  • Manage and build longterm trusting relationships with partners  

  • Connect (prospective) clients and Sales executives 

  • Stay uptodate with market trends competitive landscape new products/services 


Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience 

  • A genuine understanding and curiosity for the Retail industry in the Benelux is a must 

  • Experience in marketing / presales in a global company/startup or in sales engineering an advantage 

  • Experience in loyalty insights promotion personalization category management retail media and digital advertising or supply chain analyses an advantage 

  • Professional proficiency in Dutch and English (writing and speaking) German would be an advantage 

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative Product Marketing SaaS sales or similar role 

  • Understanding of marketing and long sales processes and performance metrics 

  • Excellent negotiation skills 

  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations 

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time within Western Europe 

  • This position is open to remote working with a hybrid mode.
