Supplier Relationship Manager

Due to continued growth we are now seeking an Supplier Relationship Manager to join a new and evolving procurement function at our Rugby site. 

As Supplier Relationship Manager you will be responsible for the performance and risk management of key suppliers as well as the identification and delivery of value add opportunities to optimise Culina Groups financial performance business resilience and quality of goods and services received from suppliers. the role holder will be a flexible proactive and resilient individual who is capable of working in a fast paced environment with competing demands on their time.

This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm offering a competitive salary and package with the opportunity to work for a forward thinking market leader.

Job responsibilities of Supplier Relationship Manager include:

• Risk management of key suppliers and key categories in order to minimise supply chain issues Culina Group might face
• Creation and implementation of strategic category plans in conjunction with Sourcing Managers
• To develop and or create and implement improved governance controls and working practices across the supply chain to drive efficiencies value and compliance with required standards.
• Work with both the procurement team and wider business stakeholders to fully integrate contract management and supplier performance into the overall sourcing process to support regulatory compliance and to drive further value from procurement and contracts.

• Proven ability to identify and implement value add commercial solutions in a fast paced multisite organisation
• Proven ability to effectively and proactively manage multiple and potentially conflicting stakeholders
• Keen commercial and financial understanding driving creative and market leading value solutions
• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to drive an optimised outcome
• Proven ability to lead the creation of market leading strategic category plans taking in to account performance risk and value
• Confident and timely contract drafting and execution drawing on Legal support when appropriate
• Confident in challenging not only the supply chain model but also the demand for and specification of the goods / service
• A general commercial mindset always seeking to identify opportunities to add value
• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to drive an optimised outcome
• Proven ability to lead the creation of market leading strategic category plans taking in to account performance risk and value
