Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Working as part of a high functioning team the SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist is responsible for developing supporting and optimizing robust solutions in SQL Server for Legal Services projects
- Defines and develops solutions with minimal direction through collaboration with Solutions Architects and consultation with Project Managers
- Thinks strategically with an equal focus on developing and communicating practical solutions that exceed client expectations
- Is detail oriented but flexible ready to adapt to changing needs and priorities cycling in and out of projects and embracing alternative paths to solutions
- Enjoys the challenge of solving complex (and potentially underdefined) problems as a member of a highperformance team
Requirements
- 5 years experience in leading the development of technical solutions
- 10 years experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databases
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or related fields) strongly preferred
- Develop debug and test TSQL code to address a wide range of technical and analytical problems
- Determine and implement effective strategies to explore analyze interpret standardize and conform complex datasets
- Collaborate with team members to determine the sufficiency of data and ensure alignment in requirements
- Advanced/expert level knowledge and experience working with SQL Server and/or in the development of TSQL code
- Proficient in tuning TSQL queries and/or in the optimization of database server performance
- Experience performing complex data analysis of very large datasets
