Why This Role As a Senior QMS Engineer you ll take the lead in developing and implementing a comprehensive QMS framework that ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. What You ll Do:
Establish and maintain a QMS framework aligned with ISO 9001 IATF 16949 and other relevant standards.
Draft implement and manage quality policies procedures and documentation.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits to ensure readiness and compliance.
Collaborate with R&D manufacturing and supply chain teams to document and optimize processes.
Lead process mapping to ensure alignment with QMS requirements.
Identify and implement initiatives for continuous improvement.
Drive certification efforts for applicable industry standards.
Stay informed on regulatory and industry requirements to maintain compliance.
Develop and deliver QMSrelated training programs to promote a culture of quality.
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for QMS and compliance matters.
Monitor and report key quality metrics including nonconformances audit findings and corrective actions.
Analyze trends to recommend and implement preventive measures.
Support supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Must have served in U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
Bachelor s degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in QMS.
Internal/Lead Auditor certification is preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 ISO 14000 and IATF 16949 standards.
Handson experience with QMS implementation and auditing is preferred.
Familiarity with compliance requirements in regulated industries.
Experience executing audits and supporting audit teams throughout the process.
Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
Proven ability to collaborate across all levels of management and departments.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%).
