Job Description
The job covers and includes:
- Controlling a small procurement and working closelywith technical departments.
- Developing suppliers in the field of automotive engineering IT and general suppliers.
- Identifying key risks in the procurement function and devising risk mitigants.
Desirable qualities NonTechnical
- Analytical dynamic hardworking and focussed with ability to coordinate with different departments operating in a decentralized environment but with centralized control on all key matters.
- Adaptable to dynamic situations.
- Willing to be a part of procedure development.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a SAP environment.
- Ability to interact with multicultural teams and across time zones.
- Good negotiation and problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Spanish will be preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP preferably SAP Ariba
- Willingness to travel outside home base as and when required.
Desirable qualities Domain
- Supply chain development monitoring and evaluation.
- Contract management including for highend software licences.
- Risk management in the procurement function.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in import and export regulations.
- Working knowledge knowledge of GST and Foreign Exchange laws
Qualifications :
Basic Educational degree
Engineer in the field of Mechanical or Electronics engineering with a CPSM or CSCP qualification
Experience
Minimum of 10 years postqualification experience in the procurement department of an automotive OEM/Tier1 supplier.
