Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaboration with Business Teams:
o Work closely with factory business teams to understand product specification
requirements and support their development specification from levels 1 to 3.
o Translate business requirements into technical solutions within the
3DEXPERIENCE platform.
2. Product Data Management:
o Oversee the management of product data within the 3DExperience platform.
o Maintain data accuracy consistency and security throughout the product
lifecycle.
3. Data Modeling and Environment Development:
o Create and manage data models in 3DExperience to support product
development processes.
o Design and implement collaborative environments that enable realtime team
collaboration.
4. Solution Design and Implementation:
o Design develop and implement solutions on the D 3DEXPERIENCE
platform.
o Leverage your understanding of the platforms architecture functionality and
applications to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
5. Future PLM Evolution:
o Develop strategies and frameworks to evolve the PDM system into a full
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution.
o Align future PLM capabilities with business goals and operational needs.
6. Data Visualization and Analytics:
o Implement data visualization and analytics tools to provide actionable insights.
o Use analytics to optimize system performance and support decisionmaking
processes.
7. 3DExperience PDM Administration:
o Manage users groups and roles within the 3DExperience platform.
o Oversee the network infrastructure and ensure the reliability and performance
of the 3DExperience databases.
o Perform system monitoring maintenance and upgrades as needed.
8. PDMERP Integration:
o Ensure seamless integration between the 3DExperience PDM system and ERP
system.
o Develop and maintain data flows and interfaces between systems to enable
efficient and accurate data exchange.
9. Technical Leadership:
o Provide technical guidance to the team on best practices for 3DExperience
PDM and data modeling.
o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the 3DExperience
platform and its integration with other systems.
10. Continuous Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.
o Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in 3DExperience and
PDM technologies.
11. Documentation and Training:
o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for PDM solutions
including design specifications workflows and control operational guides.
o Provide training to business user after each release and team members as
needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a
related field.
Proven experience in implementing and managing PDM systems preferably in
3DExperience.
Strong understanding of product specification development and product lifecycle
management.
Experience with ERP systems and their integration with PDM systems.
Proficiency in data modeling and workflow design within 3DExperience.
Experience with data visualization and analytics tools.
Knowledge of 3DExperience PDM administration including user and group
management network infrastructure and database management.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical
and business stakeholders.
