Job Description

Founded in 2023 HalioGen Power is a University of Manchester spinoff focused on disrupting the longduration energy storage industry with our innovative flow battery. We partner with key institutions and accelerator programmes including SprinD the Energy Innovation Agency INEOS Ansys Innovate UK PortXL and D2XCEL.

Tasks
- Experience in developing hierarchical control schemes for inverterbased resources or designing grid integration schemes for inverterbased resources.
- Skilled in analysis and validation or design of inverterbased resources e.g. through stability analysis and simulation in MATLAB/Simulink environment or other relevant software.
- Experience in laboratory validation of inverterbased resources (e.g. hardwareintheloop simulation) is highly desirable.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandaroty; an MSc or PhD degree in a relevant subject of inverterbased resources grid integration is optional.
- Problemsolving ability with a desire to learn.
- Selfmotivation team working and collaboration.
- Commitment to the pursuit of excellence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
