Job Description

Life as a Software Engineer is all about creating products using the latest tech. Reporting into a Tech Leader youll learn how to build and test enterprise grade resilient software.

Youll be part of our Experian Data Quality (EDQ) team working on our Aperture product suite. Our technology stretches across several areas from proprietary lowlevel database components processing billions of data rows through to richly interactive interfaces incorporating machine learning techniques to deliver the latest user experiences.

You can expect to experiment in new technologies dabble in cloud computing platforms and evolve applications utilising languages such as Java TypeScript HTML and CSS amongst others.

Whilst coding is an important part of being a Software Engineer youll also brainstorm and develop solutions attend planning sessions and work with a variety of people across teams. You may have to translate technical work to nontechnical colleagues.

Our Graduate roles are permanent opportunities and youll also take part in our 2 year structured Early Careers Development Programme when you join us which is packed with workshops shortcourses & online material designed to help kickstart your career.


Qualifications :

To be eligible to join this Graduate Programme youll need:

  • A minimum 2:2 degree classification preferably in a STEM field (e.g. Computer Science Mathematics Physics). If you dont have a degree in those fields but can demonstrate an applied interest in technology then wed still love to hear from you.
  • To have graduated within the last three years (or 2025 graduates)
  • Basic proficiency of coding in any language is desirable (eg. Python C# Java)
  • Legal right to work in the UK for the full duration of the graduate programme: this role is not capable of visa sponsorship.

Whilst we have adopted a hybrid way of working youll work onsite at the London office at least weekly.

Starting Salary: 35200 per annum

For this role we aim to hold online Assessment Centres W/C 17th March (*Subject to change)
