Job Description

The Financial Reporting and Consolidation Analyst will oversee the consolidation of EDF Renewables financial statements in Business Objects Financial Consolidation (BOFC) reporting to the Sr. Manager Financial Reporting and Consolidation. This role requires applying knowledge of financial concepts practices and procedures working closely with various departments including Accounting Tax Treasury and Executive Management. The position involves significant interaction with our French parent company EDF Renouvelables in Paris and requires a strong understanding of complex financial transactions.

Skills

  • 5 years of accounting experience (consolidation experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Business Objects Financial Consolidation (BOFC) or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) software
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards
  • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

  • Manage and own all deliverables related to the consolidation of assigned segments
  • Prepare analytical reviews and analysis for financial statements
  • Validate and upload SAP data into BOFC overseeing breakdowns and controls
  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance teams to generate accounting entries
  • Manage IFRS standards memo preparation and training for Corporate Finance Group
  • Act as primary contact for KPMG auditors and prepare necessary schedules
  • Communicate regularly with Paris team
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or equivalent required
  • Experience in the Renewables/Energy sector preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

4. Do you have the ability working with Business Objects Financial Consolidation (BOFC) or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) software preferred. SAP/ERP experience is highly preferred.

5. Do you have experience with Microsoft Office Suite must possess particularly strong Excel skills and be knowledgeable in Word and Outlook.

6. Must be able to demonstrate that he/she can work independently but also work as part of a team. Must be selfmotivated well organized and a demonstrated problem solver. Strong communication skills are required.

7. Are you able to demonstrate an understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.

8. Do you have demonstrated ability to perform necessary accounting and consolidation research and analysis of complex financial transactions and preparation of comprehensive memorandums of process and approach.

9. Do you have experience working with teams leading projects and collaborating with other functions to solve complex business issues.for communication with the Paris team.

10. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
