Job Description

As an official University of Bern startup weve received strong support from Microsoft Innosuisse and others. Most importantly weve already welcomed over 200000 students into the Studyflash community. With 10x ARR growth in the past six months were scaling sustainably and ambitiously.
Tasks
Were looking for a Medior Mobile Developer to take full responsibility for our mobile app working under the guidance of our CTO. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the mobile experience of an app already loved by thousands of students leveraging React Native and Expo to deliver seamless mobilefirst functionality.
As our Mobile Developer youll:
- Develop and launch our Android app bringing Studyflash to even more users based on our IOS application.
- Replicate and refine features from our web app in the mobile app to ensure feature parity.
- Focus on mobilefirst and native functionalities ensuring an optimized and smooth user experience.
- Leverage React Native and Expo to build and maintain a robust scalable mobile application.
- Collaborate with the CTO and the engineering team to ensure alignment with our platforms vision.
- Continuously enhance the app by integrating native features like notifications.
Requirements
Were looking for someone who:
- Has 3 years of experience in mobile development with React Native
- Experience with Expo (preferred)
- Has excellent problemsolving skills and thrives in a fastpaced startup environment.
- Is comfortable taking ownership of the mobile application and delivering highquality results.
- Understands the nuances of mobilefirst design and can create seamless user experiences.
- Is skilled in integrating mobilenative functionalities (e.g. push notifications offline capabilities complex UI interactions).
