We are seeking a competent proactive and committed individual to take on the role as Sourcing Specialist. The Sourcing Specialist runs noncapital project sourcing processes and is a specialist in tendering contract negotiations and contract management. The Sourcing Specialist ensures that products and services are sourced at competitive total cost and that processes are run in a compliant and efficient manner.
For our office in Madrid or Valencia we are currently looking to hire a Sourcing Specialist
The Role:
As a Sourcing Manager working in Group Procurement you will:
- Take a strong responsibility for delivering value through procurement for Spain and Portugal.
- Develop sourcing plans to meet internal customer requirements.
- Manage the procurement process for Spanish/Portuguese contracts including invitation to tender clarifications negotiations evaluation contract finalising and contract award.
- Supplier registration and vetting.
- Identify areas of repeat spend and establishing Framework Agreements.
- Monitor and followup of suppliers.
- Analyse procurement spend supply base and buying behaviour.
- Support internal customers in Spain and Portugal.
- Ensure adherence to procurement processes.
- Assist in ProcuretoPay (P2P) including generation of purchase orders in SAP.
- Role out procurement training to new starters and hold regular workshops with existing staff
- Support Contract Managers and other country Sourcing Managers as required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor / Masters degree in relevant discipline area or documented experience in the field.
- 2 years relevant procurement experience.
- Fluent in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus.
- Excellent IT skills (experience with SAP is an advantage).
- Experience of using procurement platforms (ideally Jaggaer).
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to successfully work educate and support multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment with many stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proactive and a quick learner.
