Summary:
This role is for a Software Tester responsible for performing both manual and automated testing on complex software applications. The tester will create and execute test plans scripts and cases to ensure application quality and work closely with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This position also involves mentoring facilitating release testing and contributing to automation frameworks.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manual and automated test plans cases and scripts for SIT and release testing.
- Perform frontend and backend testing including creating and maintaining test environments and test data.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and structured walkthroughs.
- Lead or participate in test planning release testing coordination and peer reviews.
- Update and maintain quality testing standards procedures and documentation.
- Mentor team members on testing methodologies processes and frameworks.
Skills/Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies including unit system integration regression and performance testing.
- Proficiency in Java or Ruby for automation frameworks and Selenium/TestNG with 10 years of experience.
- Experience with Cucumber BDD Jenkins SOAPUI XML SQL queries and relational databases.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA ALM Bugzilla).
- Strong communication skills for translating technical and business requirements.
- Proven ability to plan develop and deploy automated test frameworks based on BDD/ATDD.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Java OOP for automation frameworks.
- Strong DevOps experience (optional).
- Analytical problemsolving skills and adaptability in complex environments.
- Experience with system documentation and change tracking.
Education:
- Degree from an accredited college/university in a related field is preferred
