Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Data Engineer
Location: Eagan MN
Duration: Contract to Hire
Top Skills:
- Heavy Snowflake experience
- Heavy Azure/ Azure Data Factory experience
- Extensive DBT experience
Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant field or 5 years of equivalent experience. At least 4 years of mixed experience with Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Migrating existing data workflows from Azure Synapse Analytics to Snowflake Analytics environment.
- Collaborating with business leaders to leverage data for better decision making.
- Driving platform and technology choices owning solution approaches and timelines.
- Maintaining technical documentation leading BI solution design sessions managing integrations configurations and API interfaces associated with data and AI accessibility.
- Implementing data automation processes using Azure Data Factory and Azure Function APIs for data ingestion into Azure Data Lake.
- Efficiently working within an Agile environment to ensure team productivity.
- Utilizing best practices in developing architectural solutions with a focus on enterprise usability.
- Project managing datarelated projects including but not limited to migration to Snowflake platform.
