Responsibilities
- Design develop implement and test new product lines
- Analyze existing systems to identify valueadded activities
- Identify opportunities for waste reduction during production
- Manage engineering projects throughout their lifecycle
- Ensure the safety reliability and quality of products
- Prepare and review technical specifications and documentation
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff for system improvements
- Investigate and troubleshoot system failures or complaints
- Conduct research on new technologies for innovative solutions
- Comply with applicable codes and standards
Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle and/or trailer design
- SolidWorks and Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Sage X is preferred
