Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Haringey to assist with the appointment of a Programme Accountant on a 3month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 454.93 573.00 per day
Responsibilities:
- Work with members of the Safety Valve Steering Group and SEND Leadership team to support financial and project deliverables that sit within the Safety Valve Programme.
- Undertake financial due diligence on financial progress in relation to Safety Valve Programme projects to ensure that financial benefits are line with submissions to Council and Governmental departments.
- Support the development and adoption of appropriate and proportionate financial metrics across the Programme to ensure that financial monitoring and evaluation is delivered in a consistent way for the Programme.
- To undertake Highlight Reporting ensuring that financial benefits for projects in the Safety Valve Programme are clearly identified and reported on to senior leaders within the Local Authority.
- To contribute to risk management activities within the Programme as required by the Programmes Team for reporting purposes.
- To actively work with stakeholders using a range of communication techniques and styles to communicate the expected outcomes for the Safety Valve Programme.
Qualification:
- CCAB qualified or equivalent experience
