Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Logistics Executive for our client in the petrochemical industry. He/she will oversee all external customers' order under his/her purview & patrol all logistics 3PLs to ensure smooth operation. The ideal candidate will be one who is driven with the commitment to grow in the role & have order processing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage sales orders based on customer requirements while ensuring timely data entry and updates.
  • Coordinate logistics operations including inventory allocation shipment arrangements and order monitoring to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Communicate with overseas counterparts planners thirdparty logistics providers warehouses and customers regarding product availability and shipment schedules.
  • Optimize space utilization for all shipments and handle claims processing and shipment tracking.
  • Maintain operational turnaround time and ensure accurate and timely customer billing with proper documentation.
  • Address customer complaints and coordinate with internal departments or thirdparty logistics providers to propose effective solutions.
  • Foster strong customer relationships by ensuring reliable product supply.
  • Update logistics data to support operations.
  • Consolidate orders for trading goods.
  • Provide backup support to team members and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Identify and propose operational improvements.
  • Conduct monthly stock and order reconciliations along with necessary monthend documentation.
  • Assist with crossdepartmental audits and maintain compliance with audit documentation requirements.
  • Perform adhoc duties including nonlogisticsrelated tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in any field with minimum 3–4 years of work experience in a relevant field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with experience in SAP/ERP SD and MM modules
  • ISO9001 Internal Audit Certification is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detailoriented with a strong ability to work independently.
