Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our innovative team at Skyroot Aerospace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing aerospace production processes with a strong focus on composite manufacturing. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the production of aerospace components is efficient highquality and delivered on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Composite Manufacturing Processes:
- Supervise and optimize composite processes such as dry layup wet layup and prepreg to ensure toptier quality and performance.
- Implement industry best practices for composite materials including handling curing and testing.

Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the production team providing guidance training and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to ensure production aligns with design and quality standards.

Process Optimization & Efficiency:
- Continuously monitor production workflows identifying opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency cost and quality.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and increase throughput.

Production Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop and manage production schedules ensuring that deadlines are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers vendors and internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components.

Quality Control:
- Ensure all composite products meet strict quality standards and industry regulations.
- Monitor the implementation of quality assurance protocols perform inspections and address any nonconformities promptly.

Health & Safety Compliance:
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment ensuring all safety regulations and guidelines are strictly followed.
- Lead safety audits and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Reporting & Documentation:
- Provide regular production reports to senior management highlighting progress challenges and any areas of concern.
- Maintain detailed production logs including material usage production time and quality control checks.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in composite manufacturing specifically dry layup wet layup and prepreg processes in an aerospace or similar hightech environment.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position leading a team in composite manufacturing or related operations.
- Minimum of 5 years in composite manufacturing specifically dry layup wet layup and prepreg processes in an aerospace or similar hightech environment.
Skills:
- Deep understanding of composite materials manufacturing processes and aerospace industry standards.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Proven ability to optimize production processes improve efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong problemsolving skills with a focus on troubleshooting production issues in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficient with production planning software and tools.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Deep understanding of composite materials manufacturing processes and aerospace industry standards.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Certifications in composite materials aerospace manufacturing or similar fields.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
- Certifications in composite materials aerospace manufacturing or similar fields.
Minimum of 5 years in composite manufacturing, specifically dry layup, wet layup, and prepreg processes in an aerospace or similar high-tech environment. At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position, leading a team in composite manufacturing or related operations.
