What you will be doing:
- Being the first point of contact for our guests looking to dine in our establishments.
- Finding creative and unique ways to match potential diners with restaurant availability balancing both the needs of the guests and the flow of service in the restaurant.
- Ensuring all guest data and profile notes are updated in OpenTable ensuring a personalized dining experience.
- Reviewing guest dining patterns and frequency to ensure proper OpenTable tagging is added creating guest loyalty.
- Managing all reservations in all areas daily (in partnership with the venue leaders) ensuring we maximize productivity guest satisfaction and increase restaurant volume.
- Maintain active daily telephone and email activity with potential customers.
- Ensure guest inquiries are handled professionally efficiently and effectively including any that come through email or call back ticket format.
- Working with and training the venue Host teams on maximizing covers and restaurant pacing.
- Ensure the departmental payroll is accurately and efficiently recorded in Dayforce (experience is highly preferred)
- Implement procedural enhancements to the F&B Reservation and booking process to further elevate guest experiences
- Create and maintain client and guest accounts in Open Table
- Manage ticket sales and reservations for special event dinners and events in the dining venues
- Maintain and update official event Calendar for hotel awareness
- Responsible for managing EMails Tasks and Calendars for Director of Food & Beverage
- Assist with the development and organization of Food & Beverage strategic plans documentation and compliance.
- Assist with inputting accurate and specific maintenance requests while tracking progress.
- Follow up on guest concerns and reviews and share all guest comments with the leaders.
- Work in conjunction with the Food & Beverage Director on promotions menus and special events.
- Attend the daily Food & Beverage Managers Briefings and other meetings as required.
- Working in the Food & beverage outlets/venues assisting with guests and other duties when required.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a guestfacing luxury hospitality environment (hotel restaurant spa)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A serviceoriented approach and a team player.
- Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple interests
- Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion
- Competency using a variety of computer software (Microsoft Office suite OpenTable Dayforce etc.)
- Previous experience in an administrative sales role is a bonus.
- Problem solving & decisionmaking skills; analytical and highly detail oriented.
- Product knowledge including a thorough working knowledge of wines liqueurs and other beverages.
- Strong business writing and communication is essential.
- Flexible schedule to assist Food & Beverage in all areas as & when required.
