Job Description

NBCUniversal Advertising Platforms & Operations is responsible for the product development project management and daytoday operations of NBCUniversals full advertising technology suite. From product management to program management from sales enablement to sales operations from product marketing to strategic communications our division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversals $10B annual advertising business. And together were building the platform that powers the future of advertising at NBCU.

The Advanced Products and Activation team within Advertising Platforms & Operations is responsible for leading the product development processes for the technology solutions delivered to our advertising partners. We are currently seeking a Product Manager Content Driven Solutions to help build bestinclass content driven solutions.

You will ideally be a highly collaborative person who is passionate about digital media and video advertising innovation and has strong technology analytical data and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in the Ad Sales space understanding how it works and the benefits it provides advertisers and consumers
  • Stay apprised of data industry and privacy changes affecting the audience landscape and in turn contentbased buying
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations Planning Sales Strategy Systems Insights & Research Product Data and Engineering teams to deliver advanced content driven solutions
  • Spearhead content supply chain enhancements in collaboration with Engineering and Data teams
  • Own vendor communication by facilitating weekly meetings and managing business requirements
  • Refine content taxonomy for contextual scanning initiatives
  • Develop use cases and revenue justification/business value analysis in conjunction with Strategy team
  • Manage existing product roadmaps and effectively communicate timelines to all stakeholders by leading communication prioritizing key features and establishing timelines with partner Engineering teams
  • Document and detail user stories for Engineering and Data teams; participate in UAT
  • Track and test key performance indicators to evaluate and improve existing product suite

Qualifications :

  • 3 years of experience working in product development in the digital ad ecosystem
  • Proven track record of owning customerfacing product solutions in crossfunctional environments
  • Strong communication skills; can present key updates to stakeholders and facilitate weekly vendor calls
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence across a variety of platforms as needed (e.g. messenger video conferences inperson gatherings phone email etc.)
  • Experience collaborating with Marketing Sales Strategy Measurement and Engineering teams to develop and bring to market successful and innovative products
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the demonstrated ability to take the seed of an idea through launch while prioritizing effectively to get things done
  • Knowledge of technical and operational product and project requirements
  • Proven ability to understand and communicate using technical language (e.g. APIs requirements documents agile systems etc.)
  • Proficiency in Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven history of creative problemsolving with autonomy
  • Extensive knowledge of NBCUs owned and operated content networks
  • Demonstrated passion for the video advertising marketplace and NBCUs content portfolio
  • Deep understanding of digital ad serving and mechanics of data targeted advertising
  • Proficiency in JIRA

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $120000 $160000 (bonus eligible)
