Job Description
Growing Manufacturing company in the Stockton CA area has a need for a Process Engineer. This is a direct hire role with a full benefits package.
General Responsibilities
Own performance of manufacturing processes in areas/lines of responsibility Ensure that the equipment in the plant is capable of making product to specification at the rate to meet the production schedule Develop and maintain standard work standard operating procedures and programs for area of responsibility Lead definition of proactive maintenance requirements Support daily operational troubleshooting and problem solving Drive continuous improvement in area of responsibility leading front line data collection and analysis activities and designing new production processes as necessary Manage crossfunctional teams of resources in Engineering/Maintenance Production Management Production Supervision Procurement and Marketing to identify and implement improvement opportunities Support marketing and new product development in feasibility costing developing and rolling out of new products to manufacturing in area of responsibility Act as a representative and supporter of the company to those under supervision Provide feedback/coaching to associates on how to improve performance and increase skills/responsibility Provide/oversee training to associates Ensure a safe working environment for associates
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree engineering preferred. 04years engineering experience Crossfunctional experience (operations maintenance materials procurement marketing quality etc) Has demonstrated ability to implement and maintain manufacturing process
