Position Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process discovery value stream mapping and business process automation coupled with indepth knowledge of the healthcare domain. As a Process Consultant you will work closely with crossfunctional teams to analyze design and optimize processes to drive efficiency enhance customer experience and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct endtoend process discovery to identify and document existing workflows bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate value stream mapping sessions to identify valueadding and nonvalueadding activities within processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design futurestate processes aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze and recommend business process automation solutions to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Leverage your healthcare domain knowledge to ensure compliance with industry regulations and to address domainspecific challenges.
- Develop detailed process documentation including process flows standard operating procedures (SOPs) and user guides.
- Provide recommendations and support for the implementation of process improvement initiatives.
- Partner with IT teams to evaluate and implement tools that enable process optimization and automation.
- Measure the impact of process changes through key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor educating teams on process improvement methodologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in process discovery and value stream mapping methodologies.
- Expertise in business process automation tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
- Indepth knowledge of the healthcare domain including familiarity with healthcare processes regulations and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio Lucidchart or similar software.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Healthcare Management or a related field.
- Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt).
- Handson experience with healthcarespecific systems and tools (e.g. EMR/EHR systems).
