Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a proven track record in the insurance industry specifically in managing teams working on claims processing modules. The candidate will play a critical role in driving Agile practices facilitating Scrum ceremonies and ensuring successful delivery of projects related to claims management systems.
Responsibilities:
Guide and coach the team on Scrum principles and Agile best practices.
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily standups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
2. Team Coordination:
Ensure smooth collaboration between crossfunctional teams including developers QA business analysts and product owners.
Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements for the claims module.
3. Delivery Management:
Monitor sprint progress and ensure timely delivery of features for the claims module.
Identify and mitigate risks or blockers impacting project timelines.
4. Claims Module Expertise:
Leverage deep knowledge of claims processing systems in insurance to guide development and resolve queries.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in claims management solutions.
5. Metrics and Reporting:
Track team performance using Agile metrics (velocity burndown charts etc.).
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on sprint progress and project milestones.
Required Qualifications:
5 years as a Scrum Master.
3 years of experience in insurance claims processing systems or related modules.
Strong understanding of claims workflows regulatory requirements and system integrations.
Proficient in Agile tools like JIRA Confluence or similar platforms.
Exceptional communication facilitation and leadership skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in claims systems.
Stakeholder management and relationshipbuilding.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
A proactive approach to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is a plus.
Familiarity with claims systems like Guidewire Duck Creek or similar platforms.
