Job Description

Hotel Operations Manager

Woodbridge Suffolk United Kingdom

Salary: £45000 £55000 annually

This Hotel & Spa offers luxurious accommodation a 2AA Rosette restaurant and exceptional leisure and beauty facilities catering to both business and personal use. It's a destination where special moments are made memorable.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure a high level of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets and financial plans while maximizing revenue and minimizing expenses.
  • Recruit train and develop hotel staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor and evaluate guest feedback to drive improvements in service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the facility.
  • Coordinate with different departments including housekeeping front desk and kitchen to maintain smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract guests.
  • Perform regular inspections of the premises to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Address guest complaints and resolve issues effectively in a timely manner.
  • Create a welcoming environment that enhances guest experience and encourages repeat visits.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel management or operations management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial planning.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask effectively.

Desired Experience

  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred.
  • Experience in delivering exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and systems.
  • Experience in developing and implementing hotel strategies that improve performance.
