The impact you will have:

The Softchoice Assessment services are designed to help our customers save time money and reduce their exposure to risk in key areas within defined IT categories such as Datacenter Networking Storage and Cloud.

As an Associate Technical Assessment Consultant you will be tasked with analyzing and ultimately managing customer consultations from PreSales to Deliverable handover. They are expected to manage milestones and client communication throughout the project. As an expert within the various portfolios the role requires an ability to effectively transfer and distill knowledge. Portfolios include but are not limited to Cisco Desktop and Server Virtualization Datacenter Cloud and Storage.

What you ll do:

  • Engage with customer to perform data collection which includes but is not limited to setting up remote connections and analysis tools on the customer s environment or guiding the customer through the setup activities.
  • Utilizes analytical techniques to resolve standard & complex technology issues
  • Use standard tools and techniques to complete an analysis of the customer data against their business requirements
  • Conducts complex activities associated with own area of technical expertise to achieve defined results
  • Track project activities and milestones within Salesforce to provide visibility to stakeholders

Build strong cross functional relationships across sales delivery support and customer success teams in order to ensure a seamless endtoend customer experience

  • Manage point time relationship with external clients
  • Create the customer facing deliverable document based on templates
  • Makes suggestions for new approaches to conduct work activates and issue resolution
  • Works under general supervision responding to conventional queries from stakeholders and provides technical/ functional information Specialize in at least 2 core technologies and provide input on best practice standards and tools to continue enhancing the solution and their deliverable.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship to the rest of the practice around core technologies.
  • Actively working towards being versed in all technologies covered by Assessment Services offerings Provide regular input on technical practices/process and resources related to own portfolio Mentor Junior Team Members (applicable to consultant and Sr. consultant)



Requirements

  • 13 years of experience related to the role
  • Must have relevant vendor certifications at time of hire or within predefined onboarding time frame
  • Familiarity with a variety of Cloud offerings including but not limited to: Amazon Web Services Microsoft CSP VMWare/Cloudhealth and Google
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Strong customer service skills to provide guidance to clients in a professional manner
  • PostSecondary Degree/Diploma



Demonstrated 10+ years of experience in project and/or program management of IT infrastructure and/or networking projects Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Familiar with ITIL processes, policies, and procedures Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to mentor and/or guide other members of the PMO team Ability to advise on best practices for continuous improvement of project execution and management Ability to produce high quality documentation Strong attention to detail Process-oriented Familiar with Microsoft 365 Applications Flexible approach to working hours PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly regarded though not compulsory ServiceNow platform experience is highly regarded though not compulsory
