Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to drive sustainability consulting opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the client base and increase revenue streams.
- Research and analyze market trends to identify potential business opportunities in sustainability.
- Sustainability Consulting:
- Design and lead sustainability consulting assignments tailoring solutions to meet corporate clients specific needs.
- Provide expert guidance on sustainability strategies ESG frameworks and related corporate initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver highquality consulting services that drive measurable impact.
- Proposal Development and Pitching:
- Prepare detailed persuasive proposals that align with client objectives and showcase the consultancy s capabilities.
- Deliver compelling presentations and pitches to corporate clients effectively communicating the value of sustainability solutions.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful onboarding of new clients.
- Project and Event Management:
- Manage sustainabilityrelated projects ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client goals.
- Organize and facilitate corporate events workshops and seminars to promote sustainability practices and solutions.
- Develop and manage project budgets timelines and deliverables.
- Relationship Building:
- Establish and nurture longterm professional relationships with key corporate stakeholders industry partners and thought leaders.
- Represent the consultancy at industry events conferences and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients offering strategic insights and fostering repeat business.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the consultancy s business development strategies and sustainability offerings.
- Mentor and guide junior team members fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
- Continuously refine service offerings based on client feedback and emerging trends in sustainability.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sustainability consulting corporate business development or related fields.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science Business Administration Sustainability Management or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of corporate sustainability practices and ESG frameworks.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with corporate clients.
- Exceptional proposal writing presentation and pitching skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
