Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machining centers. Performs machine adjustments and troubleshoots controllers machines and processes.
  • Proficient in use of CNC lathe machines (C and Y axis) using jaws of various sizes Collets (16C and 5C). Ideally experienced with running Okuma and FANUC controls but not required.
  • Works from blueprint requirements. Select Tools Set Feeds and Speeds.
  • Run multiple machines when cycle time reasonable permits while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Perform inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Maintains a clean work environment and Shop Floor (Tools Equipment Machines etc.) Reorders tools as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 23 years Experience in CNC Lathe Setup and Operations
