Job Description
Role: CNC and Manual Machinist
Location: Bakersfield CA
Schedule: MondayFriday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24 $30 / hour

CNC and Conventional Machinist
Applicant must have a proven ability to setup and operate several types of CNC or conventional lathes milling machines working in a jobshop environment.
- Setup and operate machinery per the appropriate work instructions
- Machine part from blueprint sketch or verbal instruction.
- Use and maintain a variety of precision measuring / inspection equipment.
- Complete 1st piece inspection of part and maintain consistent quality checks.
- Fill out inprocess and final inspection reports.
- Conduct daily maintenance of machine and equipment.
- Follow all safety rules
Other Duties but not limited to the following:
- Assist in developing more efficient manufacturing procedures.
- Follow good housekeeping practice keep areas clean and organized.
- Has ability to layout parts and use hand tools
Job Requirements:
- 5 years on the job experience.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and sketches.
- Must have an understanding of G Code Programming.
- Able to work independently or with a team.
- Willing to work overtime hours when required.
- Candidate must be dependable
