Job Description
Our client a wellknown medical facility is currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Surgical Staff Nurse to be based in Jeddah Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room (OR).
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team during operations.
- Monitor and assess patients vital signs and conditions before during and after surgery.
- Ensure proper handling and care of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Document all surgical procedures patient responses and other relevant information.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care instructions to patients and families.
- Assist with patient recovery in the postanesthesia care unit (PACU) ensuring safe and effective monitoring.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and the smooth operation of surgical procedures.
- Adhere to infection control standards and maintain a clean and safe OR environment.
- Participate in surgical team meetings and continuous professional development.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelors Degree in Nursing is required.
- Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Must be eligible to take the SCFHS exam.
- Current license as a professional registered nurse.
- Proficient in English
