Job Description
- Location: Andheri Mumbai (5 minutes from Railway Station)
- Work Mode: 100% Work from Office
- Reports To: Director of Placements
- Timings: 10:15 AM 7:15 PM
- Working Days: Monday Friday (1st & 3rd Saturdays working; 2nd 4th & 5th Saturdays off)

About the Role
As a Career Development Associate you will be a key link between students and potential employers. You will provide career guidance help students refine their job search strategies and build strong corporate relationships to enhance placement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Career Development
- Conduct oneonone career counseling sessions to understand students aspirations and strengths.
- Guide students on resume building interview preparation and job search strategies.
- Organize skillbuilding workshops and mentorship programs to enhance employability.
2. Employer Outreach & Industry Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with companies recruiters and hiring managers.
- Identify and onboard potential employers for job placements internships and live projects.
- Represent IIDE at job fairs industry events and networking sessions.
3. Placement Coordination & Execution
- Match students with job opportunities aligned with their skills and career goals.
- Coordinate and oversee campus placement drives hiring events and corporate masterclasses.
- Track and report placement outcomes hiring trends and student progress.
4. Training & Skill Enhancement
- Collaborate with industry experts to organize workshops on essential career skills.
- Keep students updated on market trends employer expectations and job role requirements.
- Help in designing careeroriented training programs to boost job readiness.
Requirements
Who You Are
MustHave:
- 2 years of experience in career counseling placements recruitment or corporate relations.
- Strong background in sales business development or relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and employers.
- Analytical ability to assess student competencies and align them with job roles.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets Docs Slides).
Preferred:
- Prior experience in corporate outreach talent acquisition or student engagement.
- Passion for mentoring and helping students achieve their career goals.
- Knowledge of digital marketing industry trends (a plus).

Analytical Skills: Ability to assess student progress and align job roles with their skills and aspirations. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.) is required. Basic Digital Marketing Knowledge: A fundamental understanding of digital marketing concepts is essential. Qualification: Education: A bachelor s degree in any field.
