Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with government customers and departments that align with the companys offerings.
  • Research and qualify leads through RFQs RFPs and government procurement platforms.
  • Knowledge of the GeM Portal is required.
  • Promote products or services to government clients via calls emails and virtual meetings.
  • Develop customized sales proposals and bid responses tailored to government requirements
  • Understand and address government compliance regulations including FAR and DFARS.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decisionmakers contracting officers and purchasing agents in government organizations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government accounts ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Work closely with contracts legal and marketing teams to ensure accurate and compliant proposals.
  • Collaborate with field sales and business development teams to align sales strategies for government clients.
  • Track sales activities pipeline status and results.
  • Provide regular updates on progress opportunities and challenges in the government sales sector.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and performance goals specific to government accounts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in sales preferably in the government sector or B2G (BusinesstoGovernment).
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes contracts and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of RFQs RFPs and other government procurement methods.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (should be fluent in English and Hindi)
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills for managing complex sales cycles.
  • Selfstarter with a resultsdriven mindsets.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and adapt to changing policies.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to address governmentspecific challenges.
