Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Intern

Reports to: Partnerships Assistant Team Leader

Employment Type: Internship

Location: IIDE Lower Parel Office

Duration: 6 months
Timings: 10:15 A.M. to 7:15 P.M.


About the Role:

Join IIDE as a Business Development Intern and gain handson experience in driving impactful communication and nurturing key relationships. This role offers a unique blend of creative copywriting audience engagement and technical outreach skills setting a strong foundation for your business development career.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Using Copywriting skills to make copies/messages for various communications

  • Executing WhatsApp Blasts to various target audiences

  • Nurturing various inquiries via WhatsApp

  • Data extraction via various tools

  • Executing email campaigns or outreach campaigns as per the requirements of the business

  • Catering to the basic requirements of prospects via calls (if needed)

  • Ensuring timely promotions of organizational events (seminars/FPP/FDPs/VIP/offline events) taking place

Prerequisites

  • Fluent written as well as oral communication skills

  • Should be punctual disciplined and detailoriented

  • Should be extremely comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Should have the basic Digital Marketing Knowledge

  • Should be an eager learner for technical skills

  • Should be sensitive towards audience interaction and engaging them in the subject

  • A good team player who is happy to upgrade his / her knowledge on the job

Education

  • Any graduate Any specialization

  • Prefer to have completed graduation



Must-Have: 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the education or training sector. A proven track record of successful corporate sales and the ability to travel frequently for client engagements. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present the value of digital marketing training. Should-Have: Knowledge of corporate training needs, particularly in digital marketing or upskilling programs. Experience in managing client relationships and familiarity with CRM tools to track sales activities. Nice-to-Have: Previous experience in the EdTech industry or a background in corporate training services. An established professional network within the corporate sector that can facilitate business development efforts.
