Corporate Finance Head Part-Time

This is a parttime role on an ongoing retainer basis with an expected duration of about three to six months. The role requires regular advisory support and active handson engagement with the leadership team to guide the company s financial strategy and operations.

The organization is a startup operating in the waste management and sustainability domain. Established in 2022 by industry experts the company offers a B2B SaaS platform connecting manufacturers (sellers) with recyclers and traders (buyers) of industrial s. Though in its nascent stage with a lean team of 13 the company has ambitious plans to scale to a 150member organization within five years. Completely bootstrapped the organization is actively seeking funding to propel its growth and expand its market presence. With a commitment to environmental sustainability the company is headquartered in Singapore and maintains a base in Aurangabad.

• Financial Operations Management:
  

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable general ledger and payroll processes.
  

• Ensure accurate preparation and timely submission of financial statements in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  

• Strategic Financial Planning:
  

• Conduct budgeting forecasting and cash flow management to provide actionable insights for strategic decisionmaking.
  

• Support fundraising efforts by preparing the organization to seek equity or debt capital including crafting financial models and investorready reports.
  

• Regulatory Compliance:
  

• Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards tax regulations (GST/VAT) and statutory compliance requirements.
  

• Manage external audits and tax filings while maintaining robust relationships with auditors and regulatory authorities.
  

• Analytical Oversight:
  

• Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and improvement opportunities.
  

• Present actionable recommendations to the leadership team to support business growth initiatives.
  

• Internal Controls & Risk Management:
  

• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
  

• Monitor ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) reporting and compliance aligning with the organizations sustainability objectives.
  

• Crossfunctional Collaboration:
  

• Partner with various departments to support organizational objectives such as supply chain finance optimization and intellectual property management.
  

• Stay updated with industry trends technological advancements and changes in financial regulations to ensure the company remains competitive.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (10 15 years) in corporate finance preferably within IT SaaS or startup environments.
  

• Strong expertise in financial planning budgeting and forecasting along with fundraising experience.
  

• Comprehensive knowledge of ESG compliance regulatory frameworks and statutory accounting standards.
  

• Exceptional analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  

• Proficiency in financial modeling tools and accounting software.
  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
