Job Description

This is a remote position.

EXCITING opportunity for a Programmer with Symitar PowerOn or similar credit union core banking processing solutions such as Corelation Keystone! Digital banking application integration. Business application support for our core banking system (Symitar) and other business applications. Support all aspects of application programming analyzes and develops program specifications to meet user needs while working closely with outside vendors to maintain and modify software applications.

This could be 100% remote position for the right candidate.

Title: Programmer Symitar Banking applications

Position Status Fulltime Exempt

Reports To: AVP of Information Services

The Programmer role is responsible for providing business application support for our core system (Symitar) and business applications used by the various credit union divisions. The position performs all aspects of applications programming analysis and development of system specifications to meet user needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports. Achieves established objectives and results through communications with internal and external stakeholders managers and members.



Requirements

REQUIRED Education and/or Experience:

  • A bachelors degree in computer science or related field. Four years additional specific work experience in lieu of degree
  • 4 years specific work technical work experience with Symitar and Symitar proprietary programming (PowerOn) HTML Java Script.
  • A working knowledge of financial institution operations and transactions
  • Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) principles and programming languages and tools

PREFFERED Education and/or Experience:

  • 4 years of specific Symitar programming work experience within a Credit Union
  • Symitar PowerOn certification
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other relevant certifications.
