Location: Remote but must work EST hours
Duration: 9 Months

Job Summary: As a Manufacturing Cyber Security Python Programmer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining Pythonbased applications. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality software solutions that meet client requirements. Your role will involve both backend and frontend development ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support existing proprietary Python applications scripts and tools.
  • Develop and maintain Python applications scripts and tools.
  • Write clean efficient and reusable code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with software engineers cyber security engineers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
  • Design and implement scalable and robust software solutions.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues ensuring the stability and performance of applications.
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Document software development processes and code for future reference.

Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Qualifications:
  • 57 years proven experience as a Python Programmer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python web frameworks (e.g. Django Flask) and common libraries (requests Pandas NumPy).
  • Familiarity with web frontend technologies (e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
  • Knowledge of database systems (e.g. SQL NoSQL) and data modeling.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with machine learning and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Travel Requirements: Up to 5% may be possible

Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week with occasional offhour support as needed.
